Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine

Before embarking on a new adventure as a private practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine, I had been the Clinic Director at the University of Bridgeport Acupuncture Institute.  I coordinated the care of over 3000 acupuncture treatments annually between 2005 and 2015 at the UB Clinic. In my opinion, my strengths as an acupuncturist and “TCM” practitioner are my commitment to safe and effective care, to clear explanations of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from a western, biomedical perspective and to patient comfort and satisfaction.

My experiences have especially trained me to treat tendino-muscular pain and dysfunction, gynecological disharmonies, chronic illness and stress management. Acupuncture is only one of the modalities I can use to treat: Chinese Herbal Medicine, Tui Na or Chinese Massage therapy, Cupping and Gua Sha, or Chinese scraping techniques, Moxabustion and Qi Gong, or internal energy arts, are also part of my treatment approaches.

“I am excited to continue my career as a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine! By helping patients heal and balance themselves, I hope to further immerse myself in the beauty of Chinese Medicine. I believe that the philosophies behind this medicine are wonderful foundations for Health, Happiness and Peace of Mind.  I hope to share them and help you become healthier and more balanced.”
